Marketing / Operations Assistant

My client, successful tiling retailers, is looking for a marketing/ops assistant to start with the company with immediate effect.

This person will be responsible for executing localised marketing strategies that drive sales, support local marketing activities and deepen community relationships at store level. This role partners with brand strategy, store operations ad merchandising.

Get involved in all marketing activities from planning to roll out, support local and regional marketing requests, marketing programmes according to budget, develop project plans, manage vendor relationships, evaluate data related to sales, derive market insights and trends from research, etc. And most importantly, attract customers to the store, help struggling stores with marketing strategies and execute national promotions.

The ideal candidate for this position must have solid background - 4 to 5 years - in retail marketing on a local and national level; a bachelors degree huge advantage. This candidate must be able to travel nationally. They must also have very strong admin skills and be very hands on. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and well as analytical skills essential. Computer proficiency essential.
