My client, leading retailers in the tiling and ceramics industry, is looking for Regional Managers for all provinces in SA. This top calibre manager will be responsible for effective performance management of the stores and will support the MD in all retail activities. This will include recruitment and staff support, sales, finances, stock, productivity, etc.
This manager will also contribute to the implementation of the company's business strategy maximising profits and driving sales. They will build motivated and high performing teams through effective leadership.
Responsibilities include HR, stock planning and management, pricing and competitor analysis, merchandise and display, store visits, sales and customer service, corporate governance, finances including profit and budgeting, financial reviews and reporting, assets, new store setup, etc.
The ideal candidate for this position will have financial and business retail acumen, be commercially sound, have excellent organisational skills, be a collaborative team player and have visible leadership skills. They will be solution oriented and decisive by nature. Excellent communication and presentation skills essential.
Minimum of 5 years retail management experience. Must have a sound track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth and profitability in challenging markets such as the current economic climate and they must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate, coach and develop people.
