Our client, a well-established financial administration company specializing in Employee Benefits, is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant to join their Cape Town team.
The successful candidate will:
Provide expert client advice in line with the FAIS Act and industry codes of conduct.
Manage and service an existing client portfolio while actively pursuing new business.
Handle administrative functions, client presentations, and liaise with brokers, insurers, internal teams, and Directors.
Contribute to mergers and acquisitions by preparing client proposals and ensuring compliance.
Oversee Section 14 transfers, trustee duties, governance matters, and fund documentation (special rules, Section 14 docs, board resolutions, AFS, etc.).
Take ownership of legal functions within Employee Benefits and establish effective control structures.

Requirements:
Matric with Higher Grade Mathematics.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
FAIS accreditation.
Minimum 5 years’ work experience, with at least 3 years in Employee Benefits Consulting.
Strong knowledge of Employee Benefits, Pension Funds, compliance, and governance.
Understanding of Financial Advisory and Retirement Fund law.
Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
Proficiency in MS Office.
